Romans 13:10 - Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
As we begin the process of reopening our church building for in-person, indoor worship we will continue to develop best practices for keeping our family healthy. As we continue to navigate these unknown waters of COVID-19 we would ask that you help us by following these simple tips to keep yourself and your neighbor’s safe.
Face Masks: In response to Governor Wolfe’s July 1st requirement that masks be required at all times in public, we are recommending the use of a protective face mask. Especially upon entering and exiting the building.
Distancing: Throughout the morning please practice social distancing, especially when selecting your seat. When they installed the pews in 1912 they must have known that in 2020 there would be a global pandemic which would require “distancing”, of six feet because every other pew is exactly six feet apart. :) That is why we are asking each family unit to fill in the sanctuary by sitting in every other pew.
Offering: We will continue to place a plate at the entrance to the sanctuary in place of passing an offering plate.
No Touch Environment: The church doors will remain open so that we can create a “touch-free” environment.
Bulletins: We will have no one passing out bulletins but they will be available at the entrance of the building as well as hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. We invite everyone to sanitize upon entering the building.
Musical Worship: We will be signing from our hymnal as we are led by our organist, as well as words displayed on our video screen during our contemporary worship set. Please use the same hymnal and pew Bible throughout the service to prevent the spread of germs.
